WATCH: This Sunday, Allow It Now!

“At dawn’s first glimmer, you can’t imagine the full glory of the high noon.”

This is what Brother Angelus Atkinson says about this Sunday’s feast of the Baptism of the Lord, Year A.

He points out why the Baptism used to be celebrated with the Epiphany and the coming of the Magi, and applies John the Baptist’s words to your life.

Brother Angelus is assistant retreat master at St. Benedict’s Abbey with Father Jay Kythe. He will also be taking classes at Benedictine College and continuing his study of Hebrew with Benedictine Sister Irene Nowell at Mount St. Scholastica in Atchison.

St. Benedict Abbey’s 60 Seconds for Sunday series of videos looks at each upcoming Sunday’s readings.
