A record number of high schoolers visited campus this summer.

Benedictine College is hosting students in several programs for high school students. This week’s focus: the second session of BCYC Immersion, a week-long youth conference, along with Casting Nets’ Transform Your World Evangelization Training Camp and Benedictine’s BCYC Encounter.

BCYC Immersion students competed in bubble soccer …

… and studied chemistry in Benedictine College’s new 100-square-foot STEM facility …

… or engineering, or any of a number of other disciplines offered that week.

The college’s new Murphy Recreation Center was the perfect location for the BCYC Immersion Olympics.

Other tracks included Christian Fiction with Catholic literature professor Dr. Stephen Mirarchi …

… and Great Books with Benedictine College professor Dr. Edward Mulholland.

But in addition to learning from college professors, students learned to dance.

Earlier this summer, BCYC Encounter students spent an intense weekend hearing from speakers such as Sarah Swafford …

… and Casting Nets’ Evangelization Training Camp taught youth leaders how to Evangelize in their nationwide parishes.

In each program, high school students sought adventure and faith … and found both.
